Description:

This script had some effort put into it and it shows. It is very configureable and has varying levels of protection. One thing that annoyed me, however, was at first startup you are required to enter a bunch of information telling the script how to set itself up. This was a good idea, but there were so many options that it took about 5 minutes just to answer all the questions that it asked. Once set up, though, this script is well done. This is the kind of script you can customise to work for you, rather than a script built to work for the author, as most scripts are. I found it odd that joins and parts were shown in both the status and channel windows, but this doesn't distract a whole lot. This script has many useful features including a partyline and auto-away. The popups contain many useful commands for DALnet's ChanServ/NickServ/MemoServ bots. Also, found in the remote was a section that intercepts server notices and echos the info in an organised format to the status window (excellent feature for IRCops). The readme file outlines many of the script's features, but doesn't really tell much about them, or how to use them. Regardless, this is the kind of script you will enjoy experimenting with. This is a good script for newbies to experts to IRC Operators.
